Everything You Need To Know About The Extreme CouponSurfer Tool
This post is the first in a series that will take a deeper dive into the coupon tools and resources we have available on CouponSurfer that were created to provide you with an easy browsing experience.
What is Extreme CouponSurfer?
Simply stated, Extreme CouponSurfer is a tool that enables you to select all your grocery coupons from a single page, automatically adding them to your custom list of coupons to print – your Print List – for easy printing.
Over the last several months we have been working to increase the tool’s functionality and make it even easier to find & print your coupons. I am going to walk through the different aspects of the page so you can effectively and efficiently use the tool – leaving you with lots of time to focus on the more important things in life, not just saving money.
The Secret Sauce
Sorry if I got your hopes up with the title there – no, I’m not shifting gears mid-post to give you my DELICIOUS red tomato sauce recipe; I’ll save that for a future recipe roundup post! By secret sauce, I am referring to the unique benefits of the Extreme CouponSurfer tool that when used properly, you will be asking yourself why you haven’t tried it sooner.
The page is sorted alphabetical by brand name, NOT product name. Knowing that you may want to take advantage of the linked alphabet bar at the top of the page. If you are looking for a coupon for a specific brand, you can select the letter the brand starts with and the page will automatically scroll to the start of that letter further down on the page.
An alternative to using the brand alphabet bar is to use the scrolling search box, which will enable you to look for a specific brand. If we have a coupon for it, when the brand is selected it will automatically scroll to that brand on the page.
If you choose to utilize either of these functions over scrolling through the page manually, I would guess that you would also like to use a similar function to get back to the top of the page, #amiright? If so, you are in luck! At any point when you scroll from the top of the page, a small button will appear in the lower right-hand corner of the page. With either a click of your mouse or a tap of your finger – depending on your device – you will automatically be brought back to the top of the page, so you can continue using the Brand alphabet bar to find and select your coupons.
Speaking of selecting coupons, we made it really easy to do; just select the coupon text. When you select a coupon you will know it has been added to your print list by the blue highlight that appears. Clicked on a coupon by accident? Simply select it again and it will be removed from your print list and the highlight will go away.
Did you notice the [details] in the picture above? This is here to provide you with additional details if you want to know more about a product or a coupon. When you select it, you are provided with the product/brand description and image, if you are curious.
Once you have gone through the page, you can review your selection on your print list by clicking the green View My Print List button (we will take a deep dive into the print list in a future post for this series). If you choose to navigate away from the Extreme CouponSurfer page at anytime during your coupon clipping session, your coupons remain on your print list until you either print them or close your browser.
No Coupon? No Problem!
One of the things we are obsessed with at CouponSurfer is the sheer amount of printable grocery coupons we offer and make available for our users; The Largest on the Web! Even with such a large selection, sometimes we just don’t have the coupon you want. When this happens, I encourage you to utilize our Coupon Finder tool which will send me your request, enabling me to follow up with you directly via email as soon as it becomes available – if I had a nickel for every time someone requested a specific coupon and it showed up within a few days… well let’s just say I would be carrying around A LOT of nickels!
